Work Logic of Tick Hamster: 

1. Works on the currency pair on which the advisor is installed.
2. The timeframe does not matter. The advisor works on current quotes and does not pay attention to the TimeFrame.
3. Counts the ticks that come into the terminal and seeks the price movement of the current currency pair for a fraction of a second.
4. A sharp movement of the currency pair, supported by the general trend of this symbol, generates a signal to open a position.
5. The advisor analyzes the direction and continuity of motion and calculates the path of tick movements.
6. A series of rapid movements groups all data based on the received data. The advisor opens a position with this DATA.
7. Each position opens with a stop-loss equal to 250 average spreads.
8. An averaging function follows each position at a distance of 50 average spreads.
9. The cumulative position (series of open positions) has its trailing stop at a distance of 5 spreads.
10. If the position or series of positions becomes profitable, the advisor sets a break-even point. When the price retraces, such a position will be closed without loss.
11. The advisor calculates the spread based on averaging the last ticks in 15 seconds.
12. Over 90% of positions are closed with a profit.
13. Less than 10% of positions close on stop-loss.
14. In adverse periods, the loss can offset profits.

Recommendations for Tick Hamster: 

1. Zero spread is prohibited for the system.
2. Recommended deposit   LOW RISK  starts at $1,000 with a minimum lot 0.01 on 3 currency pairs (e.g., EURUSD, USDCHF, USDJPY)
3. The Expert Advisor is tested on a floating spread. On a fixed spread, the system may not work correctly!
4. The Expert Advisor does not work in the strategy tester for many reasons, including insufficient quote history.
5. In the tester, the spread is fixed. Therefore, the results of the strategy tester and the real account may differ.
6. The advisor works to reduce and increase the spread, as well as the rate of quote reception. Therefore, each broker has different results.
7. The Expert Advisor uses averaging and StopLoss. Averaging is triggered every 50 spreads from the previous position. StopLoss is set at a distance of 250 spreads.
8. The advisor uses a scalper strategy: positions can be closed within a range of 1 – 8888888888 points.
9. Calculate your deposit based on tests on your broker’s server to ensure it can withstand the average annual movement of the currency pair.
10. Use reinvestment, take profits on time, and manage your money effectively.
11. Forex is risky. Before trading Forex, I advise you to learn the basics of this market.
12. The advisor is fully automatic.
13. A small deposit increases the likelihood of significant drawdown.
14. Making a profit today does not guarantee profit in a month — Forex is unpredictable.
15. Making a loss today does not mean you cannot make a profit tomorrow.
16. If you install an Expert Advisor on a VPS, it is better to install one Expert Advisor per VPS without connecting and enabling other terminals. Since the advisor works on ticks, there should be only one terminal with one advisor on the VPS.

Will you send me the settings for the Expert Advisor? Do you have a preset file? How do I set up the advisor?

The Advisor performs auto-tuning of all parameters.

All parameters are automatically configured.

To use the advisor, you need to install it on the chart.

The advisor itself will handle the rest. This is an automatic advisor with optimization.

It automatically optimizes the parameters for the currency pair and your broker.

You do not need to change the settings.

A preset file is not required. All settings are automatic.

Why does the advisor not work in the strategy tester?

Because the strategy tester works with historical data and is based on incomplete quotes, the spread in the strategy tester is fixed (except for MT4).

Therefore, in the strategy tester, there are no sharp movements in quotes.

There are no sudden price jumps that a broker assumes when trading in the market.

Since the advisor works based on spread and sharp jumps in quotes and prices, it cannot be accurately tested by the strategy tester.

Please download the demo version of the Expert Advisor and test it on a demo account at least.

Can I test the EA in the strategy tester?

If you do not want to rely on my experience, you can test the advisor on the MT5 terminal, set a random delay, and choose the type: Each tick is based on Real ticks!

But you must be aware and understand that the strategy tester provides inaccurate trading results for the reasons described above!

The Expert Advisor works at the speed of quotes.

This means that the Expert Advisor catches swift movements of a currency pair, usually during news events, and earns profit from such sharp movements!

Strategy Tester cannot simulate real trading.

Therefore, the Strategy Tester can yield opposite trading results.

Even if you have been trading on this account for a specific period, the strategy tester may show different results!

Tick Scalper is not suitable for the Strategy Tester!

If I created a tester grail, I would not trade on a live account!

I trade with EA and test my EAs only on real trading accounts!

I do not trust the strategy tester!

On the strategy tester, you can verify the correct operation of the algorithm, but you cannot expect a 100% match of the trading results between the strategy tester and the real trading account!

Why did the EA open BUY, although I see on the screen that it should open SELL?

The advisor operates according to its internal algorithm.

The trading strategy developed for this advisor has been tested for years.

We studied the market and developed our trading strategy.

We are selling an advisor based on this strategy. If you wish to buy an advisor, you agree with our strategy.

If you have your own trading strategy or you think that our advisor has opened an erroneous position – consult the Programming Advisors section, and your strategy advisor will assist you.

Why did the advisor open a false position that resulted in a loss?

The question is, at least, unusual.

Forex trading is a very risky endeavor.

The advisor cannot predict where the market will move in the next second.

It cannot determine whether a position will be profitable or not.

Every advisor operates based on its signals.

If a signal appears, it opens a position.

If the position is unprofitable – the advisor employs an averaging positions system and accompanies a series of positions with our smart trailing stop.

If the position results in a loss, after a while, it closes at its stop-loss.

Losses and closures at stop-loss are forced measures and rules of trading in the Forex market.

If the advisor incurred a loss, it means its signal was incorrect. But this is Forex trading.

And you must understand that miracles do not happen!

Why are two identical advisors working on two identical terminals behaving differently?

The question is logical, but because our expert’s trading strategy is quite complex and the main logic of the advisor’s work is to catch sharp movements and market spread, our advisor cannot trade on the same terminal simultaneously.

There are many reasons: The speed of quotes, even on one computer with two terminals, can differ.

The time of quote reception is also different.

Why does the advisor yield different results with different brokers?

Each broker has its trading conditions—different spreads, swaps, commissions, stop levels, margin requirements, and contract specifications. There are different trading servers, leading to different quotes and rates of quote reception.

Therefore, the advisor can receive different results. One thing I can say is that the Advisor has a comprehensive algorithm.

The code is the same. The algorithm is the same. The signals are the same.

Therefore, one advisor operates on all terminals according to the same logic.

If in one broker you hit a stop-loss, and in another broker you have a profit, it means the trading conditions were different. This is normal.

The advisor operates based on spread and quote reception rates.

I installed the advisor yesterday, but it did not open any positions in a day.

First of all, you need to find out why the advisor is not opening positions.

The indicator in our EAPADPRO panel should be green.

If it is red, then you did not allow the EA to trade.

Or it is prohibited on your account to open positions as an advisor.

Also, I recommend that you check the Expert Advisor’s log on the EXPERTS tab – there, the EA can write an error indicating why it could not execute a trade.

Perhaps you have specified the wrong type of fill or the expiration of the order, indicated the wrong amount, or set incorrect stop orders (StopLoss, TakeProfit).

Methods for Eliminating Errors in the EA.

Additionally, the EA can ignore new signals if the drawdown on your account is higher than 10%.

If the drawdown on your account is more than 10%, the advisor ignores new signals.

This is done to prevent overloading your account with new positions.

And do not think that the advisor will immediately start trading and open 1,000 positions a day! This is an algorithm and trading strategy.

It opens positions only when it receives a signal.

Do you want a large number of positions?

Open positions manually. Every second!!!

I see a signal, there was a sharp movement, why did the advisor not open?

A trading system is a set of rules.

Rules in the advisor are coded.

Each code is executed in a thread.

To open a position, a signal must be received.

A signal appears when a series of factors coincide and provide one direction for the position.

If one rule is not met, the advisor cannot open the position.

I ask for patience and trust in the Expert Advisor (EA) and its signals.

Does the advisor work on an ECN account? Will the advisor work on accounts with commissions?

Our robot advisor is designed with the condition that all its parameters are configured for any currency pair, broker, and account.

Therefore, the Expert Advisor will work on any account.

But accounts using a commission have a smaller spread.

According to the conditions of the robot advisor, on such accounts, the average distance and stop-loss can be too short.

Therefore, the profitability of the advisor’s work on the account may differ from the profit of the advisor working on an account without commission.

However, the advisor’s code is fully tuned and includes functions for calculating commissions and incorporating them into the trailing stop and averaging functions.

What is the difference between the version for MetaTrader4 and MetaTrader5?

Nothing! The advisors are absolutely the same.

They have the same algorithm and functionality.

Differences only exist in the terminal version.

For brokers who do not have a MetaTrader5 terminal, you can use the MetaTrader4 version.

Where does the advisor perform better? On MetaTrader4 or MetaTrader5? And why?

According to our observations and long-term testing, we believe that the MetaTrader5 terminal has more quotes, a higher rate of quote reception, and faster order execution.

Therefore, the Expert Advisor on MetaTrader5 opens more positions, and they are more accurate.

Does the Expert Advisor work on VPS? Which VPS should I choose?

The advisor should work around the clock. To achieve this, you can select a VPS. Choose a VPS that is closer to your broker’s server.

The advisor works on VPS from MetaQuotes !!!

The reasons are unclear. However, the Expert Advisor does not open positions on the VPS from MetaQuotes.

Why do some positions close with a small loss?

Indeed, with scalping, some positions can be closed with a small loss.

This is because the floating spread affects the placement of the stop-loss in the breakeven and the subsequent trailing stop of this position.

The advisor can modify the stop-loss to a break-even point at the current price and spread.

But if the spread is floating, then this stop-loss can result in a loss.

This is normal.

What does leverage affect?

A decrease in leverage affects only the margin required at the time of opening a position.

This means that the advisor needs more margin or balance to open averaging positions.

But this does not affect profitability and other parameters.

You do not need to change anything.

1. To open a position on EURUSD with a lot size of 1.00 on an account with a leverage of 1:100, you need to have $1,171 of free margin!
2. To open a position on EURUSD with a lot size of 0.01 on an account with a leverage of 1:100, you need to have $11.71 of free margin!
3. If the averaging distance is 1,000 points, and the cost per 0.01 lot is $0.01, then with a loss of 1,000 points, the advisor will incur a loss of $10 + Free Margin $11.71 = $21.71
4. To open one averaging position, an additional $11.71 is required.
5. Total: If the Expert Advisor opens 3 averaging positions + the main position, you must have on the account: $30 + $20 + $10 + $11.71 * 4 = $106.84 + Stop Out (20%) = $128.20

$128.20 is required on the account for the normal operation of the advisor for 1 currency pair with a lot size of 0.01 and a leverage of 1:100

1. To open a position on EURUSD with a lot size of 1.00 on an account with a leverage of 1:50, you need to have $2,342 of free margin!
2. To open a position on EURUSD with a lot size of 0.01 on an account with a leverage of 1:50, you need to have $23.42 of free margin!
3. If the averaging distance is 1,000 points, and the cost per 0.01 lot is $0.01, then with a loss of 1,000 points, the Expert Advisor will incur a loss of $10 + Free Margin $23.42 = $33.42.
4. To open one averaging position, an additional $23.42 is required.
5. Total: If the Expert Advisor opens 3 averaging positions + the main position, you must have on the account: $30 + $20 + $10 + $23.42 * 4 = $153.68 + Stop Out (20%) = $184.42.

$184.42 is required on the account for the normal operation of the advisor for 1 currency pair with a lot size of 0.01 and a leverage of 1:50
 

1. With lower leverage, fewer additional positions may be opened.
2. With lower leverage, the Margin Call can be triggered quickly.
3. The higher the leverage, the better the performance.

Down so bad with 0.01 lot 5k balance. Bought it last week and my equity is 4.7k now. Ill give 2 stars for now ill give it one more month and ill change my review again. This EA did so well during test in live not so well so far

Update 23 /11/2023 This ea gives u few cents profit per day. This ea based on grid system and doesn't recognize big trend. U will get big Drawdowns leading to margin calls avoid this ea

Отличный советник! Тестировал -показал хорошие результаты. Поставил на демку-тоже доволен. Продуманный алгоритм. Минимум настроек. Вчера установил на реал центовый счёт. Разработчик доступен. Быстро реагирует и подробно отвечает на все вопросы. Наличие ТОЛЬКО аренды советника, говорит о его ценности и заинтересованности разработчика в сопровождении и качестве своего советника!!! Рекомендую. Занимаюсь форексом более 20 лет. Это один из лучших скальпёров с точки зрения алгоритма и прибыльности! По моей просьбе разработчик, из-за особенностей учёта комиссий у моего брокера, очень быстро внёс изменения и создал дополненную версию! Сейчас тестирую её! Ещё раз, большое спасибо! I used the EA for 4 days. At the beginning the results were fine. On the fourth day there was a big trend up, and the "sell" trades caused big losses. Therefore, I think that the EA is fine for volatile markets, but dangerous to be used without intervention in trend markets. I will try other EAs of Vladislav... Thanks for the opportunity.

Why does the advisor not work in the strategy tester? Because the strategy tester works with the history and the base on incomplete quotations, the spread in the strategy tester is fixed (Exception only for MT4). Therefore, in the strategy tester, there are no situations of sharp movements of quotations. There are no sharp price leaps that a broker assumes when trading on the market. Because the advisor is working on the spread and the sharp jumps in quotes and prices, it can not be checked on the strategy tester. Please download the demo version of the Expert Advisor and test it on the demo account, at least. Can I test the EA  in the strategy tester? If you do not want to believe my experience, then you can test the adviser on the MT5 terminal and set a random delay and set the type: Each tick is based on Real ticks! Эксперты просто супер !!! Я лично предпочитаю следить за ним, так как иногда он может закрыть позиции слишком рано или открыть не в том месте, НО это бывает очень редко. Тестировал его ровно месяц, в настройках не лазил как и советовал автор. Вердикт, из 100% сделок 85 из них рабочие !!! Все те кто утверждают что он не работает, сливает итд, это бред, он прекрасно работает ! Если у вас руки растут из нужного места, не нужно ничего делать, меняете только ЛОТ и всё, следите за его работой, не забывайте это вы трейдер !!!
