The price for beginners’ work sometimes does not exceed $30. The quality of such work, of course, will be low. But you will not achieve the desired result for such a trivial amount.

After nearly 10 years of custom programming, I developed a specific relationship formula: 99% of my clients were satisfied, and the rest “ran away” without paying for the remaining work.

Wishes for Changing the Algorithm and Adding New Parameters
Every day, I receive 10-20, and sometimes 50, emails and private messages.
I read every message, communicate, and respond.
By the way, it’s been 2 years since I ceased custom programming to focus on supporting my programs and users.
Every day there are suggestions—something to improve, add, and so on.
Of course, 90% of the suggestions cannot be physically implemented, for example, due to the different logic of the programs.
Sometimes, they ask to add features that cause the program to halt its algorithm.
And since hundreds or even thousands of people use any program, I cannot change the logic.
Therefore, I choose only those changes that:
1. Are requested by multiple people.
2. The new parameter appears interesting.
3. The user clearly demonstrates that such a parameter can be beneficial.
I strive to consider all the wishes of my users.
If the logic changes entirely, it’s easier to purchase open-source solutions and conduct experiments there rather than subject users to stress by altering the main program’s algorithm.
Furthermore, I document all interesting and necessary requests in a list (I have a dedicated notebook),
All program errors are also recorded there. (And I have numerous programs.)
Then, every working day, I sit down at the computer, process all the emails, private messages, and forum posts, communicate, and answer questions!
Once all questions are addressed, I proceed to complete the wishlist and fix the bugs.
By the way, most errors arise from introducing new features.
I will explain:
When developing a specific program, a Terms of Reference (TOR) is created!
Before writing the first lines of the program, the TOR is carefully analyzed.
All parameters should work harmoniously. — This is the initial code of the program.
Then, weeks or months pass to refine the algorithm (And don’t think that any program is developed in a couple of days and forgotten… )
As soon as a client, user, or customer wishes to add a function, it is added, but it no longer accounts for potential future conflicts in settings.
Of course, understanding the algorithm, we try to prevent such conflicts.
So, here’s the process:
Reviewing the list of assigned tasks, we (myself and other programmers) execute these tasks.
But since everyone wants to perform their functions “faster,” programmers postpone other tasks, causing other users to suffer.
Therefore, I urge you:
Share all your wishes on the forum and in program discussions.
This allows you to create a hierarchy of requests and gauge other users’ interests (in the community, it’s already exhausting to communicate and answer the same questions, the answers to which are in the comprehensive instructions that they don’t want to read).
Respect other users and expect your wishes to be fulfilled.
This helps us move clearly through the task list and not overlook important functions.
I understand that I want to do it quickly, immediately, and for myself.
But I don’t have an office, a team of testers, or managers.
My programs are priced very competitively, and the cost of all content software is very high.
